Hello world!

May 5, 2023

Dear Bride-to-Be,

If you're planning to elope at the Annapolis Courthouse, first—congratulations. Whether this decision was spontaneous or something you’ve been dreaming about for years, choosing to elope doesn’t make your wedding day any less meaningful. In fact, it makes it incredibly personal, intentional, and honestly… a little magical.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve captured love stories of all kinds, but there’s something especially beautiful about courthouse elopements. And Annapolis? It's hands down one of my favorite places for them.

Let me show you why.

Tucked in the heart of Maryland’s capital, the Anne Arundel County Courthouse is right in the middle of downtown Annapolis. It’s surrounded by cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, charming storefronts, and waterfront views—basically a dream setting for intimate “I do’s.”

Here’s what you can expect:

A quick, simple ceremony that’s stress-free

A gorgeous, walkable town filled with stunning backdrops for your wedding photos

The chance to truly slow down and soak in the moment—just the two of you

Once your ceremony is done (they’re usually short and sweet), we’ll step outside and begin capturing your first married moments. Annapolis is a photographer’s playground, and the best part? It’s all within walking distance of the courthouse.

Here are a few of my favorite spots to photograph newlyweds:
